Mable does not publish a single fixed weekday personal care rate.

Every figure on this page checked 24 July 2026.

Mable is a platform, not a care provider. Workers set their own rates directly, with a $39 an hour platform minimum. Mable publishes indicative averages for January to June 2026: weekday personal care around $55 to $65 an hour agreed, plus a 7.95% client platform fee (a worked example: a $58 an hour agreed rate becomes $62.61 an hour paid). There is no single published rate to compare like-for-like against a provider's fixed price list.

Why there's no hours-per-week figure here

Mable doesn't publish one fixed rate, so an hours-per-week figure here would be a guess, not a fact. Put a rate you've actually been quoted into the hours calculator instead.

A few things worth knowing

  • Short visits usually cost more than a pro-rata slice of the minimum visit length.
  • Some providers blend Saturday and Sunday into one weekend rate rather than pricing them separately.
  • Overnight respite is often priced as a flat block, not an hourly rate.
