Blue Care's short personal care rate is $167 an hour, higher than the standard $135 an hour, for visits booked under the 30-minute minimum. That is unusual: most providers charge the same or a lower hourly-equivalent rate for short visits. Read your invoice closely if your visits are short. A few things worth knowing
- Short visits usually cost more than a pro-rata slice of the minimum visit length.
- Some providers blend Saturday and Sunday into one weekend rate rather than pricing them separately.
- Overnight respite is often priced as a flat block, not an hourly rate.
